Abstract: |
This site appeared to have been a field until the late 19th century, when it was subdivided into house plots and gardens, with large detached houses constructed from the late 19th century until the 1960s. The land did not appear to have been built on prior to this, and as the site will not have been intensively ploughed in modern times, any archaeological deposits may well have survived relatively intact.
