Abstract: |
The site had a low potential for all past periods of human activity. Alluvial sequences dated to the Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman periods were likely to have survived across the site, preserved beneath later deposits at varying depths. 19th and 20th century industrial development at the study site had been extensive.
