Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring of the excavation of the footings and the reduced level platform works was carried out. The results of this were entirely negative, those deposits recorded comprising topsoil, subsoil and natural deposits of geological origin. Features recorded comprised a truncated culvert and modern foundations. No trace of Roman features or deposits were observed and no finds of this date were collected. [Au(adp)] |
