Abstract: |
No features or deposits of archaeological significance were found at the site or in the field to the south. The majority of the stronger linear features identified in the geophysical survey almost certainly related to earlier field boundaries, but neither these, nor the more subtle geophyisical anomalies, were visible on the ground. However, the struck flint recovered from the two fields was of interest and suggested prehistoric communities in the vicinity. [Au(abr)] |
