Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on groundworks at the site. A pit was recorded containing a childs stone coffin, covered by two undecorated stone slabs. The remains of a slightly curved wall just to the north of the coffin was also observed. These features were left in situ and although undated, they may have been disturbed by the construction of the 12th century church. [Au(abr)] |
