Abstract: |
Excavations consisting of five evaluation trenches were undertaken on land within the probable area of the medieval, post-medieval and pre-medieval settlement of Hartburn. Features relating to the late medieval use of the site were revealed in the form of various ditches and pottery sherds. Later occupation of the site was evident through post-medieval artefacts. No pre-medieval features or artefacts were revealed. [AIP] |
