Abstract: |
The archaeological evaluation established the location of the medieval or post-medieval moat, noted on the early plans from 1742. Other areas of the sample excavation, notably in Trench 2 had been badly disturbed by recent building operations, effectively destroying any significant archaeological deposits.[Au(abr)] |
