Abstract: |
Limited deposits of archaeological importance were encountered during the works but fragmentary remains of redundant cellars in High Ousegate and Pavement may indicated the line of the street frontage prior to widening or alteration of streets from the 19th century. A number of disarticulated human remains were encountered on the corner of Pavement and Whip-ma-whop-ma-gate associated with the burial ground of the church of St. Crux. [Au(abr)] |
