Abstract: |
New restaurant facilities were due to be constructed as part of the redevelopment of the display area for the Mappa Mundi and Chained Library. These new facilties were to be provided on the north side of the Cathedral Close. In the interim period before this was possible the only place availale for a temporary restaurant was the Chapter House Yard. Plans were made to cover all archaeological eventualities, but in the event the installation was carried out without any damage whatsoever to the archaeological resource. [Au] |
