Abstract: |
A small excavation was undertaken as mitigation in advance of development. Three phases of walls and wall foundations were recovered: two of which were robbed masonry walls with possible in situ clay floor levels, as well as other features. In the Late Roman period several postholes were cut through the latest discernable Roman deposits. Modern services had penetrated all of the remaining archaeology. [Au] |
