Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out. A desk-based assessment was also carried out prior to development and indicated that the site had been open fields and field boundaries from at least the early 19th century through to the modern period. The excavation involved twelve trial trenches, however, they found no strong evidence of archaeological activity on the site. In trench eight a ditch was identified, which may have been an early field boundary. The only artefacts recovered dated to the 19th and 20th centuries. [Au(adp)] |
