Abstract:		 The results of an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching at Bradfield suggested that a small area of cultivated land to the immediate south of the medieval church of St. Lawrence was not intensively occupied in the distant or recent past. No datable features were located and only a few sherds of medieval and Roman pottery were discovered. [Au]
