Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during construction. The site lay in the core of the medieval village, in close proximity to the 11th-12th century church of All Saints. North of the village two prehistoric enclosures and a Neolithic stone axe had been recovered from the village. No archaeological features or deposits were encountered during this watching brief.
