Abstract:
Gradiometer survey of an area proposed for development, between School Lane and Storth Lane, noted no anomalies of definite archaeological origin. The results were dominated by modern ferrous debris and anomalies associated with topsoil removal, and although a number of weaker anomalies were noted, it was uncertain if these were the product of buried archaeology or natural variations in subsoil.
