Abstract: |
The route was expected to cut across ditches and occupation features of Iron Age and Roman date, although the undated cropmark sites may have included earlier and later phases of activity. There was the possibility for the discovery of prehistoric ritual sites with a regional rather than local importance, and Roman pottery kiln sites of regional and national significance. [Au(abr)] |
