Abstract: |
The watching brief undertaken during the replacement of a water pipeline uncovered few archaeological remains due to modern disturbance. The few features identified were thought to be post-medieval in date, although there was no dating evidence. One former road surface was recorded; though it could not be securely dated, it was considered post-medieval. Part of a truncated wall was observed relating to a post-medieval building prior to the erection of the Plymco building. [Au(abr)] |
