Abstract: |
<summary>Preliminary field evaluation comprising fieldwalking, magnetometer and resistivity surveys was undertaken along the proposed route of a new access road - for Cosgrove Lodge Park - which crossed Cosgrove Roman Villa (Scheduled Ancient Monument, Northamptonshire 119). Fragments of prehistoric flint and pottery, and sherds of Romano-British and early/middle Saxon pottery were recovered from the Scheduled site.
