The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Subsequent to an evaluation, a watching brief was held over the stripping and grading of the area affected by the development. No archaeological features were observed during this work. Worked flints of Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date were recovered and pottery of Iron Age and post-medieval date was also retrieved. A metal-detector survey of the stripped topsoil recovered a significant quantity of lead and copper alloy finds dating from the medieval to modern periods. [Au(abr)]
