Abstract: |
The watching brief and building recording were undertaken as part of the replacement of the building with a new house. No evidence of an earlier building on the site was recovered. Subsequent to the dismantling of the roof a dendrochronology programme was undetaken. This showed that the main roof timbers dated to 1569. [Au(abr)] |
