Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out during the demolition of the building. The site showed that much disturbance had occurred during the construction of the building. Consequently, if any archaeology had existed in this area, it would have been destroyed. However, two features were observed, one probable prehistoric pit and a possible ditch of unknown date.
