Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken on the site of the Friends Meeting House which lay within an archaeological priority area. The archaeological potential of the area for the prehistoric periods, particularly the Neolithic and Bronze Age was defined as moderate. The potential of the study site for the Roman period could be defined as very good. the potential for the Saxon, medieval and post-medieval periods was defined as very good. [AIP] |
