Abstract: |
No features of archaeological interest were known on the county SMR, and the desk-based assessment did not suggest a high likelihood of unrecorded archeological remains being present within the evaluation site. The geophysical survey identified several features but these proved, on excavation, to be drains. The excavation of geotechnical test pits was monitored but no archaeology was observed. A measured ground survey was also undertaken. [Au(abr)] |
