Abstract: |
A desk-top study of Millbrook Lake and the local surrounding environment was undertaken as part of a university project. By reviewing land based archaeological remains such as lime kilns, brick works and quarries, it was possible to make an interpretation of the territorial marine based archaeology. It was concluded that the individual elements identified were not unique, although the concentration of all the elements within one geographical area was exceptional. [Au(abr)] |
