Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed development site. The assessment identified that the site contained a building that was on the list of buildings of local significance. The site was identified as being meadow land until being used as the county cricket ground in the late 19th century. Part of the site was used as a shoe factory and spitfire factory during the 20th century. [Au(adp)] |
