Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief during the excavation of soak-aways and service trenches revealed the footings of a Roman wall which had been cut by robber trenches, possibly also of Roman date. A thick deposit of black earth found across the whole site probably related to cultivation activities at the rear of medieval tenement plots. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
