Abstract: |
An earthwork survey was undertaken as part of the Norfolk Earthworks Survey. The earthworks straddled the floor of a valley, which was one of three significant tributaries forming the River Thet some two-km to the south-west. The features included two moated enclosures, the larger one with a possible attached fishpond, the other within a rectilinear ditched enclosure. These were thought to be the site of Little Rectory or Westker Manor, the larger moat being the likely house site. [Au] |
