Abstract: |
As part of an extensive programme of renovations a series of footing trenches were dug on the eastern and northern sides of Brunel House, a three-cell, lobby entrance timber-framed house of 17th century date. All the below ground remains observed related to the original build of the house in its previously defined phases of alteration. No evidence of any pre-17th century occupation was found. [Au] |
