Abstract: |
An assessment was carried out on two Grade II Listed Buildings prior to and during structural alterations. The assessment included desk-based assessment, building recording and a watching brief. No 45 had three cobbled surfaces to the rear of the premises and a brick yard surface. An undated wooden structure on the south wall of the house was found to have been constructed with reused timber. No 46 cellar was built using reused medieval worked stone. All in situ archaeology recorded during works was dated to the 18th-19th century. [Au(abr)] |
