Abstract: |
The watching brief showed that the area had once been covered by the Town Mill Pond. There waes little or no evidence for activity before the medieval period, when the mill was first mentioned. The site was largely redeveloped after Second World War bombing. No other archaeological remains were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
