Abstract:		 Observation of topsoil stripping and foundation trenches for two new houses and garages across the site was undertaken in order to fulfil a condition upon planning consent. The site was located to the north of the High Street at the western end of the medieval settlement, however, only a small undated ditch was recorded with no other evidence of archaeological activity being revealed.
