Excavation of three trial trenches on a site proposed for redevelopment revealed a group of drainage ditches and pits of medieval date and evidence of clearance and ground-raising possibly of Victorian date. Modern deposits comprised demolished brick walls and the remains of an underground petrol tank. [Au(abr)] |
