Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment, comprising desk-based study and fieldwalking survey, was undertaken on land proposed for an extension to a quarry. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified within the proposal area except for a possible Roman road or prehistoric trackway known as Buckle Street, which lay on the proposed route of a haul road.
