Abstract: |
During January 1998, Hertfordshire Archaeological Trust carried out an archaeological excavation at the former Eagle and Child Public House, 81 High Street, Whitwell. The excavation followed an evaluation by Hertfordshire Archaeological Trust in December 1997. The excavation revealed post-medieval and modern features, some of which had been observed in the earlier evaluation. [Au(abr)] |
