Abstract: |
Fifteen evaluation trenches were excavated on the site. Prehistoric flint and pottery was recovered from the top soil and subsoil but no prehistoric features were encountered. Romano-British ditches were identified as a possible part of peripheral settlement and a probable brine-kiln. A shallow 17th century ditch was also excavated on the site. [Au(abr)] |
