Monitoring was carried out on the excavation of six geotechnical test pits. Formations of peat and alluvial clay were identified in all six test pits. The excavation of test pit 4 was stopped due to the discovery of a layer of wood that included Bronze Age worked timbers. [Au(abr)] |
