Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed evidence of the construction of the existing structure in 1734-5AD. Deposits associated with the earlier church were also revealed, including three earth cut, in situ burials and a brick barrel vault. The deposits truncated by these burials were probably medieval in origin and deposits of potentially earlier date were also revealed. Evidence of the palaeochannel over which the church was constructed was also revealed. [Au(abr)] |
