Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was carried out at a school, within an area which was once part of the Great Courtyard of the 14th century archiepiscopal palace. Previous work undertaken at the site during the late 1960s had shown that a sequence of deposits survived which suggested different layouts of the courtyard gardens at different periods. Observations made during the watching brief confirmed a similar, but less complex series of deposits. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} OPR92 (Museum of London Site Code) |
