Abstract: |
The topographical survey and trenching established that, other than a slight linear depression running from north to south, no archaeological finds or remains were present. The slight earthwork may have represented a boundary or trackway. However, clearly the hollow was not a ditched feature and there was no evidence of wheel ruts which may have been expected if the hollow was created by the passage of traffic. [Au(adp)] |
