The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Historic landscape assessment of the route of a road improvement scheme was undertaken. It was found that although the road intruded into the historic park of Kingston Maurward House (included in the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens No. G.920. as Grade II *) this would be of minor consequence because the area concerned was small and probably had not been part of the original 17th or early 18th century park. The local pattern of fields was shown to largely reflect the early 19th century layout and although the scheme would affect some boundaries the historic field pattern would remain readable. [AIP]
