Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundation trenches prior to the construction of an extension, at a site which lay to the east of a substantial manorial complex comprising a moat and fishponds. Deposits relating to the medieval settlement of Draycote were also thought to lie in the area. During the watching brief, no archaeological deposits were observed. [Au(abr)] |
