Abstract: |
The evaluation was undertaken prior to the proposed construction of an office block and residential apartments. Three out of the four trenches excavated had negative results and indicated extensive truncation of the site. One trench located in-situ ground with medieval and post-medieval cut features. One, probably two, inhumations in a single grave, probably of post-medieval date, had been extensively disturbed by later post-medieval activity. [Au(adp)] |
