Abstract: |
A series of deposits were recorded during an evaluation as part of a new development on the site. Medieval remains were represented by a series of pits, possibly denoting domestic activity potentially associated with occupation towards the frontage of the site. This was thought to date to the 14th or 15th century. More limited post-medieval activity in the form of pits and a culvert were also present, overlain by levelling deposits that predated the 1930s/1940s construction of the garage complex. [Au(adp)] |
