Abstract: |
The removal of the shallow topsoil and subsoil revealed natural clay and clay with limestone fragments at a depth of 0.5m to 0.6m. A few residual sherds of post-medieval pottery along with a flint waste flake were recovered during the machining. No deposits or features of archaeological interest were identified. [Au] |
