Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation of five trenches at Avenue Estate was undertaken prior to the residential development of the site. Where undisturbed by modern intrusions, the excavated trenches revealed a sequence od coarse sands and gravels overlain by a silt subsoil and capped by topsoil. No archaeological features or artefacts were found. [Au(adp)] |
