Abstract: |
The assessment was carried out as part of an Environmental Impact Statement in response to proposals for the construction of a new golf course. It was concluded thqat apart from Brick Hill, the Pumping Engine site and some earthworks, the archaeological record may have undergone farming-related damage. However, there was thought to be potential for the survivla of significant archaeological remains, especially towards the north-east end of the site. [Au(abr)] |
