Abstract: |
<summary>An assessment was made of a site proposed for extensive redevelopment. The only significant deposits identified were two levels of peat in the southern part of the site. The upper part was sampled by excavation and analysed for palaeoecological information. Radiocarbon dating indicated that the peat had formed over a period of about 2,000 years ({italon}circa{italoff} 7596-5509 BC - Mesolithic) in the post-glacial epoch. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea}{italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLSMR082859 |
