Abstract: |
The excavation of foundations within an ancient churchyard was monitored, as the site lay within a medieval settlement with possible Roman or post-Roman origins. A pipe, which was observed running parallel to the south side of the trench, indicated that this area had been disturbed relatively recently. Two fragments of human bone were recovered. [AIP] |
