Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of two drainage trenches at a medieval church. A buttress foundation was recorded, and was left intact. It was suggested that the buttress may have been a primary structural feature of the medieval church, removed when a window was inserted into the nave wall during the 16th century. [AIP] |
