Abstract: |
A field evaluation was carried out over a period of four days at the site of the Artofex Engineering Works. The site lay within an Archaeological Priority Area, and was in close proximity to a Roman road, settlements and burials. No remains dating from before the 18th century were revealed during excavation. It was concluded that no further archaeological work would be necessary. [AIP] |
