Abstract: |
<summary>The evaluation provided no evidence of the recorded medieval Mile End Leper Hospital. The whole area investigated proved to comprise a great amount of made-up ground, to a depth of 4m in places. Any previously existing archaeological deposits would have been removed by 19th century disturbance. All dating evidence pointed to a date of the mid 19th century or later. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
